About Me
I hold a masters of arts in psychological counseling and a masters of education in psychological counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I am trained in a variety of psychological therapies to include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). I also have experience with self-compassion and mindfulness based therapies. I have significant experience treating anxiety, panic, and mood disorders, as well as chronic pain and illness, both in the perinatal period and beyond.
I have worked with individuals as a psychotherapist in New York City and Portland, Maine for over 6 years. To me, the best part of being a therapist is creating deep, meaningful relationships with my clients. I have the privilege of seeing the rarely shared, sacred, and complicated parts of people and assisting them in creating positive and practical change. Whether that’s building your anxiety toolkit, improving your self worth, or finding balance in your life and routines, I am honored to guide you through this journey.
